Care Instructions

Routine Cleaning: Dust frequently with a soft, dry cloth. For a deeper clean, use a clean cloth dampened with water and a mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid harsh chemical sprays, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive scrubbers, as these can dull the protective finish over time.

 Outdoor Protection: While the spar polyurethane finish provides exceptional protection against moisture and UV rays, wood is a living material that reacts to its environment. If kept outdoors, we recommend placing the bench in a covered area (such as a porch or pergola) or using a breathable furniture cover during periods of harsh weather or prolonged direct sunlight.

 Seasonal Inspection: Once a year, inspect the finish for any signs of wear. If the surface begins to look dull or if the water stops beading on the surface, a light re-application of spar urethane will restore its barrier and sheen, ensuring the joinery remains tight and the wood protected.
