The rhythmic, linear design of the seat creates a sense of visual lightness and flow, while the expansive footprint offers generous seating for guests to pause and decompress. It is a piece that marries functional durability with the warm, inviting atmosphere of a luxury retreat.

 Constructed from sturdy pine, this piece highlights a mastery of structural joinery. The base utilizes complex half-lap connections inspired by the work of George Nakashima, reinforced for commercial-grade stability and stained in a deep American Walnut tone. In striking contrast, the slatted top glows with a "toasted" amber hue—achieved through custom shellac layering—and features plug-covered fasteners for a seamless finish. The entire bench is encased in a high-grade polyurethane topcoat, meticulously applied to repel moisture and withstand the humidity of a spa setting.

Care Instructions

 Moisture Management: While the polyurethane finish is robust and water-repellent, standing water should be wiped away to prevent long-term surface clouding.

 Cleaning: Clean with a mild, non-abrasive soap and water solution to maintain hygiene without stripping the protective gloss; avoid harsh chemical solvents.

 Inspection: Periodically check the stability of the base if the bench is moved frequently, as the piece is substantial in weight.
