Transform your garden or patio into a picturesque retreat with this charming bridge-style bench. Designed to evoke the peaceful feeling of a woodland crossing, it offers both a sturdy place to rest and a canvas for your favorite seasonal blooms. This unique conversation piece effortlessly blends rustic architectural character with living nature, creating an inviting focal point for your outdoor sanctuary.

The seating area is constructed from shaped Pine, supported by a stretcher that has been lightly torched and treated with a rich dark walnut stain to accentuate the grain. This distinct "bridge" spans between two sturdy square legs that double as functional Red Cedar planter boxes, featuring black-painted frames for a modern contrast. The bridge surface is sealed with a durable spar polyurethane to withstand the elements, while the aromatic cedar planters are left in their natural state.

As an original LaBorde Creations design, this bridge bench is crafted exclusively to order. We invite you to collaborate with us on the palette, selecting paint or stain colors that perfectly complement your landscape architecture. For those who prefer to apply their own personal touch, this piece may also be commissioned in raw, sanded lumber, ready for your specific finish application.

Care Instructions

Bridge Surface: The finished pine area should be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove pollen or debris; inspect annually and reapply spar polyurethane if the finish begins to dull. Cedar Planters:

The Red Cedar boxes are intentionally left bare to utilize the wood's natural rot resistance; they will weather to a distinguished silver-gray patina over time.

General Protection: While built for the outdoors, covering the bench during severe winter weather will help preserve the contrast between the painted frames and the natural wood.
